Each year, the Trade Union and Labour Party Liaison Organisation (TULO) organises weekend-long sessions for union activists who may want to become more involved in politics, both locally and nationally. The next session is specifically aimed at supporting trade union members who may one day wish to stand for public office.
The political school will take place in Leeds from Friday 27 November to Sunday 29 November, with accomodation and transport covered by the union.
If you would like to apply, you must have been a member of the union for over a year. You will need to send a statement on why you would like to go on the course, of no more than 300 words to peter.roberts@gmb.org.uk by 5pm on Friday 28 August 2025.
